Strategic industry-academia collaboration reached a new high as BITS Sonepat joined hands with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on May 20, 2025. This partnership reinforces BITS’s vision to deliver IT industry-ready graduates through real-world exposure and mentorship.
Through this partnership, BITS now offers exclusive access to TCS iON certification programs, virtual internships, and professional mentorship tracks—aiming to benefit over 200 students in the initial rollout. This is targeted at B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, and MBA students, preparing them for careers in software development, analytics, consulting, and digital services.
Prof. S. Bhatia, Head of Training & Placement Cell, commented:

Under this collaboration, TCS professionals will host quarterly masterclasses on Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity. Annual TCS-led coding boot camps and mock interview sessions will directly support placement and employability for BITS students.
Notably, several BITS alumni currently thrive at TCS in roles such as Business Analyst, System Engineer, and Data Specialist. The partnership seeks to strengthen pathways for future career readiness and placement success.
